I wanna to watch it but I heard it's damn freaking-ly scary! That old hag just spook the hell out of me when I watched the trailer..lol

This is more like the old-skool horror flicks, similar to The Exorcist, rather than Ju-on kind, so that's why people say this movie sucked. What do you think? Who watched it already? Ratings? haha

the ad didn't look very scary to me...

go watch la, whats the worst that could happen

he he

My friends who watched it have quite a number of good things to say about it. Eg. It's unlike the other scary movies etc. don't plan on watching it. Hahaha. Looks evil. :P

Yip it's funny as hell lol.

One bit (during the seance) was just too silly for me, but that's Raimi movies - he pushes things to the point of absurdity. You either like it or you don't.

Good use of the music, albeit slightly typical i.e. prolonged silence at a 'scary' part folowed by super loud crash of sound. That'll get ya jumping ;)

I recommend the movie. It's great fun. Have a few beers then go watch it. It's worth the money - and worth giving money to filmmakers who try something a little bit different from the standard fare.

I would'nt say that it is 'funny as hell',only slightly funny. Its not that scary either. Its just a fun movie to watch.

I'm keen to watch, but just in case, I'll wait until the VCD comes out. As long as it doesn't overdo the scares. I notice that western films rely on shocks, while eastern films rely on creepiness. Huh.

People still maintain that The Exorcist was the scariest film ever made. And it's probably true.. Shows about demonic possession (even documentaries) are really scary.

hahas drag me to hell was damn shocking. yes, there's alot of soundtrack build-up, but there are some really shocking scenes where you dont expect the ghost to pop up at all. i was laughing at one point in the movie cos my friend was so scared he told me "ASSUME THE POSITION!" and proceeded to bend over in the seat with his hands covering his ears.

All Done

Shocking mostly, plenty of gross scenes, good length and original story. Worth the money for a horror flick.

just watched the show at vivo 9.30 wonder if any fellow softies was there? extremely shocking show not for the weak hearted!! i was so freaked out, but then again, i have the spine of a gummy bear. xD

Lol! yea..watched it today, finally.. Man, it's kinda shocked me when I least expect it..lol..I just felt the old hag gonna grab my balls in an instant! haha! But its good entertainment..

Which is the grossest moment to you guys then? I think the scene where the old hag died n the fella knocked the coffin over, old had landed on top the bodily fluid/juice - watever that thing is called, starts spilling over?? yucks! haha

i think the grossest part was when the whole arm went into her mouth and also when the old woman vomited maggots and worms onto her.

I watched the show as well & I gotta say I was kinda skeptical at first when I read the synopsis. But after watching it, I'd give it a 7.5/10 for scare factor!

There were definitely some scenes in there that were not expected at all. Most of the other scenes were a tad predictable.

In my opinion, one of the most shocking & unexpected scenes was when Christine was clearing out her garage looking for things she could sell to raise 10k for the pyschic guy. Suddenly the old woman (Mrs Ganush) just appeared! Scared the s*** outta me, I tell you!

Yea & I have to say the music/sounds in the show was awesome! Totally made it that bit more shocking.

One hilarious part of the show was when the old lady wanted to bite Christine while they were wrestling in the car & she realised she couldn't coz her dentures (false teeth) had been knocked out! LOL! So she searched for them, put them back in her mouth & attempted to bite again!

And also when Christine was driving alone in her car at night & Mrs Ganush appeared on her windscreen. I got such a scare that I crushed the popcorn that i was about to put in my mouth! Haha!

The plot ain't too bad, nothing fantastic but hey, I've watched worse horror films. The ending was alright. I like horror shows with a twist-ending.

Sam Raimi's one of the better directors.. I guess he's taking it easy.. before doing the Spiderman 4..

DARKMAN, the Evil Dead trilogy even the Hercules tv series has always been abt Sam's vision..

Yea.. I like Sam Raimi's intelligent mix of horror n joke in between..Sometimes i just don't know if I should laugh or cover my eyes..? XD
