Link to Finale Notepad - it's cool if you use it with Tablet PC too because you can write notes with the pen. Even cooler, the software can 'play' your notes MIDI style by reading the notes. It's fun and suits someone 'basic' like me.

there's this software called garage band. i have it but i've no idea how to use it. can type in keynotes and stuff and they'll play it. etcetc.
