gas haus didn't close down...it had a change of management and turned into REDBAR.

zai studios has an outdoor space area which is quite big equivalent to the size of a badminton court...you guys should check tat place out.it could be so called a rooftop gig because it's 10 storeys high and it's in the open. hoped that answers ur questions budakbone and Masterzouk! 8)

studio gigs are nonsense if u ask me, wanna do a proper gig, do it at a proper venue. make sure its outside a room, haha.

sometimes if e place too big......People won't crowd ard.they will tend to sit one corner, do their own business.

nothing beats a gig in a nice big public space. imo.

alternatively, try approaching Home Club, unless of cos your audience are mostly below 18.

In that case, try the *scape Youth Centre. You can always do a collaboration with them where you can get the space for free.

wah piang eh, Google for Youth Park's number. If you were to out together your own show, you've gotta start working your ass off. No one will help you at all.

And no, venue rental and equipment rental are 2 separate issues. Start working out your budget and your marketing plan for the show. And nothing comes cheap, even at the entry level. Be prepared.
