Any place offering affordable and good drum lessons?

Hey guys... Thinking learning to play the drum after my A's... Was wondering if you guys could give advise on places that are offering reasonable and good drum lessons?

- rhythm house (mark boatman)


before you sign up, make sure you go down and have a feel of the school environment, as well as the teacher you will be learning under.

there are quite a number of good music/drum schools in singapore, so take some time and check them out!

I would recommend Music Lab as well. Just had my first lesson with Alvin yesterday and it was a blast.

But like plainsman said, take your time and check out the other music schools as well. Head down and have a quick chat with the respective instructors!

Try to talk to the teacher. Decide whether you want a structured (e.g. school's syllabus) or non-structured learning programme and find the teacher that can assist you better in which ever one you chose. It's really up to you. =)

I have one place at Katong Mall.. Award music school.. this drummer is really good and his name is chow kiat.. 110 per mth and its worth it!

Music Lab. They teach not only drums but also the attitude to play drums. Is much more important than the skills. The instructors inspire you, when you lose the motivation, they will re-fill for you every week.
