any MPC1000 users?

i recently got a good deal on a used blue Akai MPC1000. maxed out RAM, and added a 2GB CF card.

i'm almost 100% software based (Ableton Live/Reason/Logic Express), and hardly sample loops off other people's beats or tracks. honestly i bought it just because it was unbelievable cheap.

any MPC users out there, and any useful tips?
