Any Jamming studios with Fender or Vox amps?

dun think so..i think the most expensive amps i've ever seen in a jam studio so far are the Line 6s at bluetail.

if im not wrong, alvron has a fender bass amp... at least thats what i remember anyway. i could be wrong :/

That's why I was wondering if any studios have vox or fender amps, cos mosst studios have marshalls or peaveys. Want to try out the fender amps and vox amps....heee....especially the vox amps.....

You can try Fenders at Swee Lee and Vox at City Music...

The Esplanade is one of the few venue owners I know which actually bother to rent out Fender Twin Reverb Silverfaces (I heard the Blackfaces are better...) and Vox AC30 (!!!)... But what I heard is that the AC30s are very expensive to rent.

haiz... maybe thats why studios dont wanna get full tubed amps... Too much hassle in maintainence, the tube life being used very fast, AND SERIOUSLY NOT EVERYONE KNOWS HOW TO OPERATE THEM e.g. the standby switch...

I dont mean to say that im expert in using them, but cuz before i owned them, i was a complete idiot on it. N infact, many owners of full tubed amps dont know that they are actually abusing them tube or worse, the OT transformer...

lets hope that it gets repaired quick haha, next fri me gg to jam there... was hoping to use the mesa... but the laneys r not bad too i think

it didnt explode, the guy did something wrong and it broke

so the mesa isnt available for use atm

The mesa is broke? The mesa is not broke la. Grain just said to let it REST (and use the other amps in there eg Laney tube & Randall solidstate - instead) cos it (the mesa) has been in use for 4 hours straight. Theres a reason why there are so many amps in there. Backup is the word.

Dont worry. The Mesa is in service.

i was wondering if there were any studios which offer high quality equipment? whereby people pay 30 bucks and hour instead of the regular 12-18 bucks...

I think Soundmix (the big room) is the highest end studio for jamming purposes. We have it real good in Singapore. Studios here are all so cheap. In the US, the studios costs US$30 an hour. 8O

well, equipment is cheaper there, but studios are more expensive, i guess they take advantage of the demand there...
