Some backgrd info: i learnt guitar when i was ard 15 and now i'm 21 (finished NS). started with classical (sooo boring...), then moved on to neo-classical metal and speed metal and the like. Influences include Paul Gilbert, Vai, Herman Li, Kirk Hammet etc etc. Stopped playing during JC, couldnt find time and pple with similar interest at all, so if u ask me stuff about musical theory like augmented traids... well wiki it
Right now, i'm looking to hook up with any english band that needs an electric or acoustic guitarist and plays anything from rock to blues to country.... i'm happy with whatever music that has a nice theme, pleasant melody, hearty beat, warm solos, meaningful lyrics... just no hardcore armageddon screaming type pls. i think i'm too old for that
About committment, i can join jammin once or twice a week i suppose. Covers or Originals, i'm fine with both. If i can get in tune with the band, i'll devote more time. i gotta work fer a livin right?
