Morning quiverpool, hmmmm let me share mine, am using a multi efx, digitech gnx2 works fine with me, but am looking to downsize to stomp boxes like a distortion+delay+eq+whammy for I play r&r/alternative. I always love Dimebag Darrells technique & tone also Megadeth & Metallica.

Have you tried the Line6 m13? Looks promising!

I am more of a stomp box head now but have delved into multi during the late 90s.

Haven't tried any Line6 gears, but I heard/saw Boss gt8/10 in action & it can nail Metallica tones (witnessed it with TAO's gig last Razorback concert @ the Arena CQ). Am now looking for a easy to carry/simple floor unit that's why am considering stomp boxes|px4d or px5d (spythere:mrgreen|or maybe a vox da5.

analog has the warmth , digital is a bit sterile but with the new chips they install in the likes of Line6 POD X3 or Boss GT10 is quite decieving in our ears especially the high gain amp emulation (marshall JCM800, Mesa) but when it comes to classic drive or bluesy stuff still mediocre compared to analog kahit na ang clean sound (fender amps ,Roland JC120) emulation ng digital are very thin.
But the plus point of Digital it's more mura compare to analog individual pedals. Lalo na pag vintage ang mahal. In digital easy to produce decent tone if you are plugin direct to console because the amp & cabinet simulation capabilities. There are more to explain Tol' kaso aabutan tayo ng umaga. But I hope this will help!

the character of the analog pedal will shine if you plug it in to the right guitar amp!
Overdrive from the preamp section of a tube amp especially high gain or medium gain is still the best compare to any overdrive pedals in my opinion but diffirent players have diffirent preference.

Maybe one day will do some shoot out of analog pedals & digital multifx the we judge & learn together .Cguro pag di na'ko masyadong busy, coz got some recording / mixing project to finished. Well , I & my partners are selling/distributing boutique guitars for few years now.
Guys anyone of you have tried James Tyler Guitars? check out their website
jamestylerguitar.com . these axe are better sounding , feel & vibe compare to john suhr , tom anderson or any fender customshop.
These guitars are use often by top sesion players like Dann Huff, Steve Lukather, Mike landau , Michael thomson, Dean Parks & many more, You always hear these guitars in most top hits records of the likes of Chicago, Michael Bolton,Toto, Celine Dion , Richard Marx and other LA produced songs and hits from Nashville like Garth Brooks, Shania twain , faith hill, Carrie Underwood, Lee Ann Rimes etch.
We always thought that those great guitar sounds from those hit songs are coming from fender strat but actually it's not. Most of these players are sponsored by big guitar companies so when they comes out in a show they have to use fender r any big gtr brand but in the studio they use Tyler, Tom Anderson guitars. Even Steve vai In His Passion & Warfare Album He use His Tom Anderson & His Old jackson Guitars than his Ibanez JEM during the Recording except for the songs that require 7 strings.

Tyler VS Suhr

I've owned few Suhr gtrs before but i kept only one now ( The best Suhr that I've encounter). the reason is Suhr is quite similar with tom anderson in terms of sound & feel . The things that separates Tyler from Suhr, Don grosh , Tom anderson , Sadowsky , Fender Customshop and others. it's Tyler organic tone , and amazing neck feel.
Suhr Guitars in one point in time was very good John Suhr was focusing in building great guitars , It was the Pensa Suhr era. but he's more on doing casino table right now, I think earns more money doing casino table than guitar.
In my Church , the 3 Worship Leaders are pinoy, the drummer, bassist and percussion player too.
I Use My Tyler Landau Classic to Boss pedal OD1 + DD3 Delay into a matchless DC30. To get that ala Nashville tone.
