Hi

Does anyone own (or had a chance to handle) the Tanglewood TSB 58 or TSB 67 Guitars ?

I'm looking to upgrade from my Epiphone Junior Std model and was wondering about these models :p

Any feedback (the Good...the Bad..the Ugly) would be greatly appreciated.

I'll head down to TyMusic to try them out myself, but was hoping for thoughts from the more experienced players who may own or had a chance to handle them.
Thanks in advance.

They're extremely well-priced, good value-for-money guitars. I've tried the TSB C 58 LTD 1 and was generally pleased with what I heard. The Entwistle pickups are comparable to SD's standards; nice and chimey when clean, raw and focused when overdriven. Sustains nicely, plays smoothly (60s neck I believe). All in all a really surprising find for a MIC guitar. If I didn't have my Edwards I would definitely have purchased that guitar on the spot. My only 'complaint' is that the crotch walnut top wasn't as 'vibrant' as I expectd it to be, but that's just me being picky lol.

I am however considering ordering(if it's possible for TYMC) the TSB C 58 LTD 2. Never tried a string-through Les Paul before...

Thanks CyanideJunkie :)

That's definitely helpful info. The temptation to get one is increasing.......

everything is $380 and above, and I personally like the Tanglewood Les Paul series, but i still prefer the Epi LP sound, has much more bass to it in my honest opinion
