As the above threadtitle states, do you guys know of any double bassists in Singapore?

Thinking of learning how to play the doublebass when i go over to JC, and just am generally curious about the double bass scene in SG.

i saw this guy frequently, he moves arnd la so its hard to find him, i donnoe his name, but i remember seeing him play the double bass in town b4, sry thts all the info i gt

i asked rylche a question once but never got an answer ..

i asked rylche his/her gender .. because .. if you rearrange his nick .. and swap from the middle the words .. it'll be ... rylche = ryl che = che ryl = cheryl

so i was wondering if he was a she or if he's a he .. hahaha

It is "sial", not "sia". If you want to sound cool and not embarrasing, at least get your Malay slang together. Mongoloids are known for short legs and short tongues but in print you could at least type it right.

erm...i appreciate your kind intention...but today i feel like typing sia instead of sial :lol: and i dunno that saying sial can make you sound cool...

And appearing embarassingly ignorant of Malay language in print is?

hahaha,i nvr say its cool dude...and yeah i'm ignorant of Malay language,perhaps thats the reason why i score A2 for my Malay...i should've said 'SIAL' instead of 'SIA' and get A1...

so i hereby thank you for correcting me...tee hee

No wonder my friend wrote 'Siak' and he got B3... I wonder what happens when we write 'Siol'.

Just love it when forumites get all defensive about mundane things :)

Anyway Rylche, sorry, i stand corrected - its 16 not 15!!!

There are double bassists in Chinese Orch. But they use a funny number system that I simply do not comprehend. Anyone here can enlighten me on this!

@3nab and ahkiatt - It's okay man! :D
