i dont know what type of technique this is, but it sounds good ya.
Percussive tapping + inverted finger tapping?

Posted before..look at 1 of the posts below. Anyway, I thought this is not new? I remember watching some guy from some american band playing this type of technique before at HRC. But this guy plays better.
