Cities wasn't the best album. It was good with Godspeed, Adelaide, Unwinding Cable Car but towards the end it was... draggy. repitative

Lol, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, no offense. Sorry if I accidentally offended you. I thought New Surrender was WAY better than Cities. Every album that Anberlin releases seems to raise the standards even higher and higher

In no way did you offend me bro. i thought new surrender was good, but i prefer their older sound.

It's really good that different albums appeal to different people. It just goes to show how diverse the band has been over the years both stylisticly and lyrically.

If you're happy, "Haight St.", "Autobahn". If you're in the lovey dovey mood, "inevitable" & "retrace". If you're angry "never take friendship personal". Wanna headbang, "Godspeed", "Readyfuels". hahaha...& that's barely scratching the surface.

marchtwelve should ONCE AGAIN open for Anberlin shld they decide to come down, contrary to unconfirmed reports.

simply cos marchtwelve totally understands that beautiful tunes coupled with meaningful lyrics is a solid combination.

one opening band should be fine. not more than that.

my girlfriend enjoyed anberlin's performance.

i enjoyed marchtwelves'. it was reely happening! like BIGTIME!

and when the lead singer started jogging on the spot and singing, man, i was blown away.

it was crazeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

and her voice is crystal clear.

felt goosebumps all over. similar to when i was there at Fort Canning Park, in the VIP section, looking at Corey Taylor, expressing himself when Slipknot came to town.

love this band to the core

EERR, not meant to go against you, but I think Retrace isn't really the love song you think it is. The song speaks about a loss of a good friend in a relationship, possibly in this case, a romantic relationship. It's more of a sorrow sorta song actually.
