hihi, dont get any wrong perception, i am saying this with a calm tone and seek your understanding.
i just want to say that there is no such thing as two same pictures (thus no such thing as coincidence) and that any photographer will be able to recognise his/her work even if it is rotated/flipped, changed in colour or hidden by text as long as it is not overly manipulated.
im sorry this has taken the lime light out of the gig, a very good one at that, and i could have pm xtreme-boy, but this is not the 1st time that it happened to me, so i thought it will be better if people are aware of such a case.
another example (theres more) just to proof my point:
http://soft.com.sg/web/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=27490.
i am not a PROFESSIONAL photographer, i take pics for pleasure and i upload them out of goodwill for the bands, so that they can take them and post on their site or myspace. infact i know of quite a few who does this and the least we deserve is some acknowledgement for our hard work and time, rather than have our work taken and use to promote something that can eventually make some income for the abuser, no matter how small because some of us photographers who do this doesn't make a single cent.
the local music scene is already very underated, the last thing i want is to see the value of photographers and their works taken for granted and be used and abused. this is just like PIRACY. if this gets out to the local photography forum "clubsnap", there will be a huge up roar, i dont want that, so shh....
roy have already pm me so i believe everything is cool again.
lets look forward to this gig, the last turn out wasnt so gd possibly due to high entrance fee so lets hope this one is a sold out one.
i hope everyone understands what i'm getting at.
peace :supz:
