hi ppl,

anyone know what the dials on the amp for the mic is for? how do u use it to your voice's advantage. also, whats the cause of the high pitch sound?usually happens when the mic is too loud. can we adjust the dials so that we can increase the vol without causing this. been singing for a few months, always wondered what all the dials and buttons were for. thanks!

When I turn the "Main" or "Monitor" knob, the volume changes..
When I turn the "Effects" knob, it gives reverb..

That is ALL I know HAHAHAHA

I think I'll invite someone from the engineering side to pop in and explain... cos I wanna know also... Or Ankh or his friend.. "D

thanks sage. yea... i read that sound engineers can make u sound better by tweaking some stuff.
whats reverb? like echo is it?

Hi there!

Simply, the setting may not fit to everyone. Normally, there's 'low' (Bass) and 'High'(Treble). Too much of 'low' your voice may sound too bassy and too much 'high' your voice may be too sharp. So, you have to play around the sound to suit your voice. 'Gain' or Volume will increase the volume of a particular channel. The Master Volume or Gain will affect all channels when adjusted. Never set the Channel Volume higher than the Master Volume as you may not have the optimum sound balance. Set a certain level on your Master and the rest adjust on individual channel. Some has effects and normally it comes with a Master setting too and at every individual channel you could increase or lessen the effect for that particular channel. The Pan knob are normally played around by the sound engineer. Just set the Pan to centre so you'll have an equal amount of volume on left and right output.

Hope it'll help! Just play around with it.
