Amp

Hey peeeps, it's the "time to change amp" feeling again. I kinda looking for an amp that allows me to produce nice rock tone, since i'm not that into cleans. I'm working with mainly distortions and fuzz, so any good recommendations for around $400?

Seriously..this might sound insane,but SMARVO is a gd choice..i own a 30 watt SMARVO which i bought for less than $300..Worth it..Ranking did have it and also a shop near Davis..You walk straight in front of Davis turn right untill you saw a Dean and TGM and aria guitar being displayed..that shop..i don't know what name though..sorry..

nothing insane about SMARVOS, these are arguably overlooked (largely by the brand conscious).

'very good' largely depends on what you are trying to achieve. if you are looking for an amp that'll comply to your pedal set-up, it's a worthy consideration.

Or u can get a 1x12 cab wif a Crate Power-Block. Heard gd things but not yet tried 1. Thou its a bit off budget.

Hmmm i'm not a brand conscious buyer, never believed in looking at brands and then finding for what i want. I'm still in search of an amp that can give me those nice metal/rock distortion sound. I'm using mainly my Korg AX3000G's distortion, and brand of amp isn't an issue. The closest ive heard from an amp would probably be a Peavey, though i forgot which model it was..

I try their boost..crank it at gain at 5 oclock,shape at 5 oclock and presence at4 o clock..then i have a decendt sound..while vol is at 7 o clock though..Like that already loud..got ppl complain..hmnn,btw..u buying big amp issit??

Pls don get Peavey Bandit. Randolf has told me that bandit series are a waste of time. The better ones would be 5150 or JSX, but these would be out of your range. I would suggest CUBE30 or the vox. If have spare $ get Laney LC15R
