amp problem...

ok i dunno what happened...i have only played for 4 hours with my new MT-2...and then my amp volume starts to fade away...

i wanna know what happened...i know my guitars ok...coz i can hear a teeny bit of it from the amp...

so i'm positive its the amp..

i even tried to plug the guitar straight to amp...and still the volume sounds low..and i have the volume at 5....

even when i crank it up to 10...it sounds like its on 3...


dammit! help please!!!

and i realised that it was crackling when i was playing some stairway to heaven...issit a sign that my amp is dying on me?!

please tell me what happened!!!

no, can't be ur amp. check ur cable. most probably the problem!

Cable? My marshall sometimes goes to raw distortion suddenly with my zoom g2.1u...tweak the cable a little and viola!

sounds very much like a faulty cable.. change cable and if its still the same.. then most prob your amp's busted

Happens to me with my shitty amp. Sometimes was the cable but sometimes was because the overdrive button on the amp was a little depressed so have to press it then its all okay.

no...as i have mentioned...i use a behringer V-tone..its a modelling amp..no overdrive button..but got switches or something..

anyways,it sounds ok now...damn...maybe it REALLY is the cable...
