hi guys, i've a question.
im using a voz ad30vt, 30 watt amp. i've some problem with it. after some time playing my guitar, the amp just fails, i mean there's still power, but nothing came out of the amp. but after a while the amp works again. it happens a few times. i assume the tube needs to be changed, am i right?

so if i need to change the tube, any reccomendations? the place to get it and the price. thanks in advance.

Ha, ha. I also presume its the triode tube that need replacement cause it happens intermittently.

yea...it's quite frustrating. i'll let you know the outcome. first i have to confirm if its the tube that's the problem. and of course, being new to these kind of amps, i need to know where to get it and the cost. any kind souls can help here?

Same issue wth my Ad30...Try this, and it always works for me, KICK THE AMP...

And mine is waiting to be posted to be sold at only 50bucks.

If i'm not wrong it's one of those "common issue" with regards to this amp.

Cheers.

I'd check the input jack first if I were you. Its unlikely that its the tube that's causing the intermittent sound. If a tube is loose in its socket or goes bad, you get noise and fuzz and loud hiss.

Most likely its just a bad solder joint somewhere in the circuit.

Anyway 12ax7 tubes are cheap $15-20. Just goto Martin Electronics or Well Audio Lab in burlington square.
