Alternative to FR?

Hey guys i was checking out guitar tremolo systems and i found this system:

http://www.super-vee.com/index.html

Its called a Super Vee and it is made specially for fender strats. It is sorta like a FR with locking nuts and fine tuners. You can also adjust individual string action and intonation like a traditional strat system too. And the site boasts that it is better than an FR with less hassle during installation.

Would you all recommend this to be installed on strat? It seems pretty awesome IMO!

wah i was thinking of getting a FR guitar nxt after i see this made me hav 2nd thoughts hehe.its awesome-ly amazing-ly drooling cool!
but whre can find this in SG?or issit available already?;)

If you guys read on more, (i'll just list down all the good features):

- Very simple installation
- Side clamp locking nut
- Can be switched from floating to flat
- Individual string intonation
- Individual string action
- Retains vintage look of strat

I think it can do as much as any FR. Can divebomb, etc. But i'm not sure if it can flutter. Site says eric johnson uses it  And i think it stays in tune just as well.

But to restring the guitar with the system takes as much time as any FR would. But the fine tuners go deep though. You can drop D with it alone.

I wonder if i should get this along with a deluxe strat  Then i'll have a bluesy guitar that can also do metal wahahahahha.

Do a search, there was a discussion about this a few months back.

sorry if i had created a duplicate thread, but i did search before creating this thread. Didn't find/ didn't see a thread with this tremolo system inside. Perhaps i was too careless.

Could you link me to that thread? Thanks.

it needs to cut the ball end like FR ....
but overall its nice... and the bolts.. need to be modified first :)

i like this

Search for "super vee" with the open and closed inverted commas intact, under the search at the top bar.

And select "show posts"

You'll find some info there. :)

nice bridge!

Just find the design of both the nut and bridge can be more sleek.. the bridge looks like a badly done 6saddle tele bridge :D

FR still looks way better :P
