Hi all,
Up for sale is the Alexander Silver Jubilee Overdrive pedal. MINT. Unscuffed. No velcro. No rust. This is a 3 band EQ overdrive pedal which uses the same design topology as the preamp section of the Marshall Silver Jubilee.
Check out the reviews. It gets very close if not identical to the Marshall Silver Jubilee tone and gain. The pedal sounds best at medium gain to high gain.Its not the best low gain sounding overdrive for sure. Not going to replace your tubescreamer or zendrive or bluesbreaker pedals.
Some describe it as a "slash in a box" pedal but it does so much more than that. Works well with Fender amps as well as obviously Marshall amps.
There are tons of pedals emulating the 80s Marshall distortion tones but nearly all of them come with fizz and overcompressed sounds. Not this pedal. Its fat and airy much like a cranked vintage 50W Marshall Silver Jubilee combo.
Going at $250. Negotiable but no lowballers. The real prices can be easily googled or ebayed.
