Alesis Multimix USB and Leopard

I'm just about to purchase an Alesis Multimix 8 USB (not USB 2.0) for use with my Mac that runs on Leopard (10.5.3) but I've read about compatibility issues here and there on the net.

Anyone here running a the mixer on a Mac with Leopard with significant issues? Thanks in advance!

btw are u aware that the 1.1 version cannot multi track?i can only record a stero track? i would suggest u get an interface that at least can multitrack. u can start by looking at the alesis firewire versions or the 2.0 versions. it will give u lots of flexibility for mixdown later
