Anybody else waiting for this to come out? Street price is US$699... less than half the price of my AG500 and way less than the price of a DB751. Am thinking this + a 1x15 would be amazing.

in my opinion, aguilar always reproduce the most pure n original sound of the bass without adding too much character to the tone..

Got news from TY—they will be bringing these in. Will have price soon.

hope the price is good. The markbass F1 is selling riduculously expensive and the place where they are selling it is not even following the US street price.

I'm sure it will be local voltage. Quite glad its TY bringing it in rather than Davis though. Davis' Aguilar pricing was insane. Their $5000+ DB359 is still sitting in the store collecting dust.

oops my bad for not reading properly. I just realise from the link of the Aguilar head, its say switching mode power supply, which I think means universal. :). Yay for TY, ... for D_ _ _ _.

SMPS doesn't necessarily mean universal—it's up to the individual manufacturers... but Aguilar has a history of allowing end users to change the voltage on their own :) I changed the voltage on my AG500 pretty easily (jumper and fuse switch), and Dave Boonshoft even sent schematics.

Would love a DB359 some day, but that thing is HEAVY—even the 3U DB751 is lighter.

1 of the things i always wanted when i come back to SG, was a decent amp i sorta outgrown the practice amp here.
