Advice on getting a Classical guitar

Hello,

I have always wanted to learn how to play a guitar and I recently decided that to learn as the school holidays are approaching. I would like to get a fairly ok guitar for me to start with and my budget is $90-$120. I know I have quite a low budget but I'm only a student and I have a hard time saving up. Also, please state the place where I can get it, what model is it, cost and reviews if you guys are able to.

Thanks in advance,

Rae

You can try going to Citymusic to look for classical guitars. You can also buy from music schools. Some music schools give discount to students in their school. their classical guitar can be as low as 60-70+... =)

Hi Rae

When buying a classical guitar, try to get a classical guitarist to go with u. At your price range its almost impossible to get a decent classical guitar first hand. Maybe you can try looking around on the 'for sale' forum for awhile.

Good luck
Rob

1stly, it must sound pleasing to you. 2ndly, the notes have to sustain. these are the 2 most important factors when choosing a classical guitar imo.
