Advice Needed for Sing and Play Guitar!

Hey guys,i wanna learn the art of singing while strumming guitar.
What steps do i need to follow? And how long will it take to strum in consistency and changing chords so i can sing to it?

if youre comfortable playing the chords and you know the song well, then in no time youd be able to sing as well

build up muscle memory by practicing. once your hands get used to the progression, try to start saying the lyrics followed by singing.

if its powerchords, tuning to drop d would help, so you only need to use one finger IF the chords are basic chords

Practice singing it. Then practice playing it. If you have difficulty, try humming or whistling the tune while you strum / play.
