Active pickups.

Hi guys! I would like to know is it able to fit an active pickup like an EMG 81 to a normal guitar? Like maybe an Ibanez RG320DXFM? If so, how to do it. Thanks!:mrgreen:

you will need to do a cavity for the battery.

not only that, you might have to route the pickup cavities deeper/wider. do a search on soft, I'm sure there are plenty of threads on EMG pickups here.

Did you buy it online or in a store? If you bought it in a store they would most likely be able to install it for you (for a fee, ofc). I think you can go to Davis and ask them to install for $35. I don't know how much other stores charge though
