just got myself a solid top acoustic guitar recently. done some research and found out that generally solid wood requires more care and also humidity control is very impt to ensure that the wood does not crack etc.
anw was just wondering if it is essential if the guitar is kept in a hardcase. cause currently i keep it in a softcase. and is silica gel sufficient to ensure optimum humidity. heard that if it might cause the wood to be too dry and result in other damage. thanks!
