Acoustic guitar for beginner

Hi I am looking for an acoustic guitar with pickup and am just starting out....I have a budget of about $400....



Hopefully it sounds good enough to be recorded in my home studio setup.

Hi there, you can try cort acoustic guitars, they uses fishman pickups and are relatively nice sounding.Most importantly, they have some around your budget.

Cort´s good la, IMO, maybe not yours, can try out Simon & Patrick at Sinamex too, not bad, but that´s around 700.

I was looking at the cort earth 100F....currently I have a Cort MR740 at home, borrowed from my friend.....wondering if there are any other options besides that ie: a Seagull?(have to stretch budget a little) or a used Taylor Big Baby?



Actually besides good sound I am looking at playability too....especially when I play bar chords as a beginner

I think Cort Earth 1200 is nice. Deciding on Cort or Garrison 30-CE.. Think going to try Corts at Peace Centre or Parklane tml.

Actually, I will recce that you get a North America guitar. Seagull is very good actually, they have been producing it since 1990. Anyway, I see if I can get a feeling of the Earth 100. Need to get a new guitar, my old yamaha stays out of tune very well.. Hehe..

u can try lesser known brands like sx or custom acoustic...



i got my cut-away custom acoustic with rather good pickups at $300+.... not bad sound for the price...



sx is a china brand that has surprisingly good sound for around the same price too...



btw they can be found at the shops at peace centre near dhoby ghaut...

Thanks poon.....anyway already got myself the colt 100F .....almost got myself a ibanez with cutaway and pickup....but dont seem to like it when I played it at home
