Acid Jazz?
Listen to stuff by "The Whole Thing"

Quite an obscure band, so if you want some of the tracks, add me on msn and then i'll send you some

hmm.. jamiroquai is pretty nice. they got some awesome acid jazz tracks and im sure they have those ambient stuff too. But they have TONNES of albums so maybe check out the "high times" or something like that album. Its the collection of their best singles i think
Oh yea if u want some nice ones can add me on msn too

Not trance, but how about biosphere. He came into town a long time ago. Also some nice relaxing stuff would be susumu yokota. And not forgetting brian eno's music for airports.

And, amazingly, muji is selling some rather relaxing wall music.

they're not really ambient trance though, but really good as a after party come down.

If you're into old school ambient, then maybe terre thaemlitz would be great too. A label to look out for would be instinct records ambient releases from the 90s.

Go for those Cafe Del Mar or Buddha Bar compilations.

Try St. Germain, 4 Hero, Lamb, etc. You can try out those instrumental hip hop acts as well.

For ambient, nothing beats Brian Eno's 'Music For Airports Vol. 1'.

wanna go old skool, check out compilations from Quango records not sure if they're still around. "Journey to ambient dub/jazz"

Also check out artiste from Pork recordings but I also dunno if they're still around.

Kruder and Dorfmeister(K&D)
Air
Fila Brazilia
and a whole bunch of others...

I think Ghosts I-IV is a good relaxing Ambient Trance-kinda album.

I usually go Massive Attack for my relaxation...trip-hop.

I have a couple up my sleeves but I have to go home and check what they are :/

Off the top of my head, I'd suggest Saltillo's "Ganglion" and the "Broken Highlights" compilation. Saltillo uses strings in their songs, and broken highlights are a mix of trip and dirty ambient beats.
