achieving that screaming effect...

Hey guys.. i'm trying to play steve vai's liberty.. but however i just couldnt get the "screaming", "loud" and powerful sound.. any idea? other than that my distortion and chorus is quite satisfying though :?

Any pedals does this? ibanez tube screamer? :lol:

switch to bridge pickup.
google on how to do pinch harmonics.

hmmm..theres one dat sounds lyk a leopard scream..its done using a wah from bass to treble n at the same time depress ur whammy bar...it works beta wid high output pups n a floyd...

simple... use a Ipod and load the song onto your playlist and stick the earphones onto your pickups. then just action like playing with the feel.

jokes aside.

the best way to achieve this scream. make sure you have good pups, a good bridge, no need to max distortion one.. and the most important. Get your TECHNIQUE right.

Find the sweet spot for your pinch harmonics. Get the hang of it and you can even pinch your power chords to get a superb lead lines!
