Ok I donot want to MARKET Vedas nor do I appreciate anyone MARKETING any thing other than music here...I just want to higlight that evry religion's holybooks have many TRUTHS and FALSES....Dont ask me what are the FALSES in ANY religion ,.....give a google and u will find out ur self....If u donot agree , then argue with the ppl who post on those sites.... so donot waste ur time marketing any religion...atleast in forums which are not meant for that...

In simple terms:
Torah -> Bible -> Qur'an
The Christians have changed their Bible alot of times. Considering the New Testament is now regarded as the right Bible.
I have studied all 3 books for the past 2 years. Still ongoing, but so far, i do see similarities. It is not surprising, since it is supposed to b an evolution of sort. Anyway, these r not the only religions i have studied. Among others, Buddhism, Hinduism, and a few other illegal, legal, old & new beliefs. I have come to a conclusion that all major, legal religions in this world have things in common. It is said that Siddartha Gautama appears in the Qur'an, as Prophet Dhu'l-Kifl. Similar appearances/reference exists in the Bible & Torah in regards to deities of Buddhism & Hinduism, such as Durga. However, these are under research and not proven.
All religions have some sort of divine predicition. For us muslims, the Qur'an has numerous such genuine claims, but do note that some of these and others can also b found in other religions.

ok lets not sidetrack.. Recently i went 2 see a talk on Al-Quran and Science... Well it shows a load dat Al-Quran indeed has a load in it abt Geography science and a load more.... Some r like earth rotation, stars, human Dna.... A load more lah..
There was also a part where they tabulate a graph dat is about da Al-Quran content and amazingly when they connect da dots Its spelled out Allah(Swt) and Prophet Muhammad name...

"We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed. Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance)... (Quran, 23:12-14)"
Prophet Muhammad was an illiterate man. He could not read and write. He memorized everything. He had no scientific education and yet he knew the above.

Anyway there is no bad religion... Any religion in dis world teaches pple 2 be gd.... So at da end of da day its juz da personal believe...
But my Warrent Ofcr lastime had dis interestin theory... He said dat he converted 2 christianity as his wife requested b4 marriage.. so he said yes he will but he will not let her stop him from goin temple.. He said if he wanna go temple or mosque or whereeva dats his way of sayin dat god is great and come in many form...
He put its in a way dat all we go back 2 da same God juz dat diff pple tk diff means of gettin there... So he say some may tk bus some tk cab some tk MRT but all end up at pasir ris still....

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as solid proof as far as religion is concerned. Im part of a research group where we look into a religion with an open mind. We imagine that we'r just born to the idea of religion, and from there we study each one with the same amount of attention. So we dont really justify anything as "false" or "true" claim. For us, all beliefs have the same marking scheme. Living in Singapore and carrying out such a research is a blessing, because nowhere else on Earth can we find such diversity.Slash04 said:

From ur first post, it is obvious what ur intention is. "Look Islam has such genuine scientific claims! No doubt this is THE true religion!". Well, proud we are. BUT, there are such things in other religious books/scriptures as well, in different forms. The Qur'an is a miracle, yes. So are others, to a certain degree.
