personally i found gold lace sensors to be a bit compressed sounding..
yes they are "noiseless" but to me they lack a certain something
they're very 1980s -- clinical, clean, not much soul... i've been meaning to swap mine out but never got round to it..

strange .. that the exact feeling i had when i went from EMG actives to a normal SD SH4
the extreme quietness seems to leave out some "life"


But i guess my single coil tone requirement is not too stringent/refined
seeing that most of my guitars are humbucker equipped anyway.

dunno lah bro. to my ears i prefer kinman, last time compare it side by side, kinman traditional and holy grail... honestly like kinman most. and tried the clapton strat, with those lace. dont like it...
Sold the kinman finally. But for me right now, my no 1 with Fralins Blues and my no 2 equipped with CS 69, both of them i like most...
If i have money to get others strat, might want to have Lollars on it...
