A song in 2 keys? Help! :(

Hi guys, i recently tried figuring out a song myself without tabs(none available online, really.. not even on ultimate guitar)..

i figured that in the song there are F#, G, A, B.

using this tool, i realized that there are 2 possible keys to this song, namely D & E.

is it possible that there are 2 keys in the song? i tried google and.. as i did not study i do not understand terms like "metric organization", "next note relationships" or "circle of fifths"...

and since i don't have the time to actually study theory professionally.. so i've come to soft. :p

does having 2 keys mean that 1 of them is wrong?

This tool only shows you the possibilities. Given those 4 chords (which you didn't state major/minor or what else?) they could possibly fit in a song in D or E, or even in other keys since many songs have out-of-key elements, transition chords that are a half step from the usual chords, etc.

Or, it's also possible that the song changes key somewhere in the middle, like transposing up one step which is quite common.

If you need specific help, let us know the song!
