if i can choose, i would like to gig at Montreux Jazz Festival.

But the thing is we just can't choose where we want to gig (well... except for those places who has "sell x number of tickets, and you can jam here" policy)

Hey.. i had been patronizing Insomnia in the past. They used to have a great philipino band named Parental Guidance. Wonder where they moved to now.

the management at Gauhaus are nice friendly people.

but i think the place kinda sucks... went there once and decided never to go there again.

young man, you've got one dedicated thread somewhere in this forum to accomodate your ranting. Do a search and keep your ranting localized so easier for lock it if necessary

from what i know, bands that r playing at insomnia swap around every few months between SIN & HKG...
and sometimes 2 of the bands will be based here and they alternate between themselves playing there...
some of the members end up sessioning for the other band also...

esplanade is certainly the most prestigious. baybeats!

yar, but its meant ONLY for punk rock and indie, based on the criteria for entry for the selection of baybeats 2007

but for singapore thats the closest thing we've got to woodstock
