A/B box

ok guys i really need some clarification as i'm very confused here. and i've done a search but i couldnt find answers.

i'm going to get an A/B loopmaster from TYmusic later in the evening. but i'm confused as how to set it up.

what i intend to do is:

switch between 1 pedal and the other pedals. smth like tuner. but i dunno how to connect it in such a way that it selects either that particular pedal alone, or the other pedal loop.

i need help cause i also need to buy patch cables depending on how many needed to connect them.

and dont flame me!

you will need a dual loop looper instead for the switching.

loop A for 1st pedal
loop B for 2nd pedal
Normal input/output from guitar to amp

Best will be having a tuner out jack to be connected to the tuner instead of having it within a loop, imho.

haha i wanted to get that too. then after reconsidering I realised I don't really need one since my setup is not that large.

If the "1 pedal" u are talking about is a pedal tuner, u only need a a/b box to put it out of ur signal chain. One cable to Tuner input, one cable to ur pedal chain input,.

And u stomp the switch to either go tuner or to ur pedals signal chain.

However, if the "1 pedal" u are talking needs a loop by itself (basically everything except tuner), then what u need is a clean/dirty switcher. U need 2 cables for first loop and 2 cables for second loop. U also need 2 cables for input and output jack.

The switcher allows u to switch between loop 1 OR loop2 quickly with just one stomp.

ic. does the clean/dirty w/ masterbypass mean that u can bypass the whole looper pedal? i'm simon who msged u i'm still thinking of whether to get one. my pedalboard has no space though
