3 piece or less drums.

HI guys guitarist here. Want to know if buying a new 3pcs drums kit is better or more worth it than buying them seperate.
Any reccomendations ?
Wanna have something to practice with.

It seems simpler.
I used to own a tama stagestar but sold it. As its cramp in my room.
Also wanted to have a full sounding drum instead of the pearl traveller.
Iam kind of big size, and based on the stage star when i place the snare i can hardly reach the bass pedal and hi hat pedal at once.
I not sure if my placing is wrong or that the snare is big or what.
Hard to reach the toms too.

I realized that i dont use all the toms on my set. And i prefer to use the heavier sounding ones.

Hope u guys understand what i trying to get across. :)
Cheers

From what i know, most '3 piece ' drum set would be just the high tom, floor tom, and bass drum only, the snare is not included, unless the drum set is really 3 piece, which means the high tom/floor tom , bass drum and snare drum, but i would recommend you to get a 4 piece drum set at least, with a high tom, floor tom, snare drum and bass drum, at least enough for you to do fill ins :)
