DISCLAIMER: The Misfit Ramones is not a supergroup featuring Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only, Doyle and/or any other 3 currently (and still) deceased Ramones, ie. Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee.
The Misfit Ramones is a band influenced by the back-to-basics, stripped down, yet fast and aggressive rock 'n' roll sounds of Misfits and Ramones.
The Misfit Ramones will be performing at Lcube on the 14th March 2009 and at FAD Studio on the 21st March 2009 along with other entertaining and rocking bands. The Misfit Ramones will be performing the following songs:
Attitude (Misfits)
Blitzkrieg Bop (Ramones)
Commando (Ramones)
Die Die My Darling (Misfits)
I Just Want To Have Something To Do (Ramones)
KKK Took My Baby Away (Ramones)
R.A.M.O.N.E.S. (Motorhead/Ramones)
We Are 138 (Misfits)
We are inviting you not only to come for the gig, but also to be sing along with us the songs listed above. If it turns out to be a massive karaoke session, that will be even better... and merrier! In fact, for some songs, we may not hesitate to have an open mic opportunity and any rocking singer can come up and jam with us on stage. Even if you don't want to sing along, you are more than welcome to clench and raise your fist or bang your head like a typical rocker.
So if you are looking for a good rocking time, come watch The Misfit Ramones as well as the other bands at Lcube this Saturday (14th March 2009) and/or at FAD Studio next Saturday (21st March 2009).
You can get tickets for the 14th March gig from us (by PM here or email misfitramones@gmail.com). For the 21st March gig, you can order your tickets via 3screamfest@gmail.com (standing ovation for both Screamfest and Creepsveil for organizing the 2 gigs).
P/S: Even though members of The Misfit Ramones have gig/concert experiences before, we are still not technically proficient musicians. Therefore, there is no requirement to stand or sit upright in order to appreciate our music. And even if we happen to mess up our playing, rest assured, to paraphrase one of Joey Ramone's lyrics, that we don't care as long as everyone has a good time... a good rock 'n' rollin' time...1,2,3, 4....
