1991 Ibanez Jem (Desert Yellow) CHEAP.

Today I will be putting up a 1991 Ibanez Jem 777VDY for sale or trade. (6 strings).



NOTE: Floyd Rose has been removed for the time being as the strings of the guitar have been taken out. I know, horrible timing for me to do this post. I'll try to do better next time......



YES! Disappearing Pyramid Inlays. Available on certain first few JEM models. This is a 777VDY from 1991, purchased in 1999.



Last 4 frets are scalloped, as requested by Steve Vai for his signature model.



Pickups have been upgraded to Evolutions instead of the stock Pink Dimarzio PAF's.

NOTE!soft

Bridge has been changed to GOTOH FLOYD ROSE. We all know how good it is.

All in all, this guitar has been upgraded for the better, even if it is argued that it does take away value of the guitar. IT is in great condition though, 8/10.

I noticed the fretwork is horrible... leveled but not crowned or frets are badly worn.

I can definitely see that, especially with the scalloped 4 frets at the end. The previous owner did mention that he did not do anything to the guitar besides the upgrades. I do believe that means that he never sent it for a refret, either.soft
