Hi guys,
I am putting up for sale this immaculate condition Gibson Lucille for sale. I think this guitar needs no introduction, this is the classic one whereby the mother-of-pearl GIBSON logo and LUCILLE logo are on the headstock. The new 2012 version has "BB KING" on the headstock instead. Humbucker hardware and tailpiece are all in splendour gold. Gold gibson tulip head tuners as well.
It is a semi-hollow guitar, just that there are no f-holes, which eliminates unnecessary feedback. 5-way toggle Varitone switch allows you multiple pickup configuration for the choice of tones you desire. Comes with a brown Gibson original hardcase with desirable pink interior. Original papers, Gibson strap, Gibson picks, whatever case candies all in.
Bought in 1990 locally, this classic 22 year-old guitar have been well kept, maintained and clean. I am no working musician or studio recording artist, so this guitar has not been used much.
You can be sure you are getting a great guitar off my hands.
In my humble opinion, this plays better than ES335 and other Gibson archtop. Solid built, nice Gibson signature edged frets, quality binding and the magnificient Varitone.
Asking for only $3800. I'm sure this piece is worth more now.
