1 hour of juice only?

I will go straight to the point.

Am using a Fender 110V 85W Twin Reverb 2x12". The region where I reside supplies 230V of electricity. Of course, I have with me is the step-down transformer with 500W maximum load to accommodate that. The amplifier had been used before I bought it, i.e. I bought it from a second-hand shop dealer (one of the latest addition to the Brash Basah family of music equipment stores). My mistake was not to try it more than 1 hour. Instead I tried it for 30 minutes. And the price was way to good to be true comparing to those found in that shop-where-marking-up-of-prices-is-the-common-practice.

Amplifier settings as the following:
Signal input->Vibrato channel input #1
Bright switch->Off
Volume->4
Treble->7
Middle->6
Bass->4
Reverb->4
Speed->4
Intensity->3

Rickenbacker 360 settings as the following:
Bridge pickup
Treble volume->Max
Treble tone->3/4 to max

A step-down transformer specifications as the following:
Step Up = Input AC100~110v, Output AC220~240V
Step Down = Input AC220~240V, Output AC100~110V
Maximum loading = 500W
Fuse rating = 250V 6 Amperes

My concern is after 1 hour of practice with my band, the amplifier's red LED begins to flicker and as it's flickering, the sound from the amplifier seems to lose its juice and volume, i.e. intermittent sound signal. I'm pretty worried of course. Talked to some and they quoted that the tubes had lost their juice, leaking capacitor (according to Uncle Seah), transformer problem (according to Mike).

Need your input and feedback here. Thanks in advance.
