i play a lot of grunge music and sometimes punk. i've been wanting get a flanger but many of the guys at swee lee tell that the delay is more important. i dunno , cause i really like adding the flanger sound to my solos, but the delay seems to be more favoured by others. what do you think...

I want to get a distortion pedal but i'm not sure which one to get. I'm interested in the BOSS pedals. I want a NIRVANA type sound. i know kurt cobain used DS2 turbo distortion but i was told that metal zone would be better. what do you think?
