I gave up trying to reply to the PM you sent, as I got logged out twice after re-typing the same message.
Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to post your knowledge - its really appreciated.
I also mentioned that I have a rudimentary way of thinking about polychords, but your method is faster and by far the superior one. If you have a list of other compound extended chords that can be thought of as polychords, I for one will be eager to learn from your wisdom! =)
Also, would you say that improvising over such chords, using the tritone scale or pentatonic scale starting from the tritone note, is a reasonable way to go? It usually sounds ok from my experience, and validates the approach you are suggesting.
