I had a chance to try out Yamaha CLP 500 series 2 weeks ago and considering getting one to replace my 2nd handed old acoustic piano which condition going to be beyond tuning. (I got it cheap and at that time I had no experience or requirement of a piano.)
As I seen most of the acoustic piano which the touch, tonality I'm hooked with are range at 9k to 13k. I think it's pretty expensive... Hence I'd rather get a high end digital to pursuit my interest in music.
Had anyone tested out the new CLP 500 series? I kinda liked CLP 585. It really amaze me however it's around 5.3k promo price. Do you all experts think it's worth it for a digital? Even the staff do not recommend such range of digital piano, specially those who consider taking exam should get an acoustic.
