With a super unique grain mark on its headstock.
One of the key reason why I picked this piece too.

Bought Aug '15.

Now sending this beautiful sounding piece away for $600 discount from Sinamex's list price.
Will consider a direct trade with a Gibson J45 Custom / Songwriter Deluxe in mint condition and with pickup installed. Goodalls and Bourgeois will be considered as well

Guitars Reviews:

Acoustic Magazine (February 2015)
"It certainly doesn’t respond like a freshly minted guitar in that there’s a sweetness present that you might expect from a cedar topped instrument, without losing any of the punch of spruce. It’s responsive, too; strummed with a pick there’s an authority to each chord and bags of volume. The 614ce delivers on Taylor's promise of added richness and complexity. It’s safe to say that the 614ce is a winner on all counts!"

Guitar Acoustic (February 2015)
"With this 614ce Taylor proves that maple is a serious contender to rosewood and not just a wood choice for particular sounds. This guitar sounds powerful, balanced and dynamic – and like maple in the best sense possible."

Guitar looks exactly the same as well except for the unique mark on the headstock which is one of the reason why I picked this piece amongst the other 614ce present during my purchase about one year back.

As you can hear, the 614ce is very balanced in sound and suits all playing styles. It is also a very good instrument for onstage playing and studio recording.. plus with the torrified top makes one more motivated to spend more time playing on it.

Nothing amplifies the overall presence you are trying to convey onstage better than a Taylor guitar :)

You have to try it and experience it yourself.
