WTS Thermionic Culture Rooster MINT
This is a great tube preamp by uk manufacturer Thermionic Culture. It is a channel strip combination of their world famous culture vulture/ pre-amp & award winning passive equalizer. 230v balanced version.
It features dual xlr mic/ xlr line & DI inputs.
Using the input and output volume controls, pentode/ triode switch with distortion adjustment from 1-6.
It can run from full clean to full distortion on any of the inputs.
Clean will make it a quiet classic tube pre-amp with subtle harmonics and warmth.
Full distortion will make it very aggressive, similar to cranked guitar amps.

Great for synths, drums, bass, guitars, vocals
e.g. DI guitars, miked up acoustic, line-in drums from DAW, DI/ line-in synths
Main vocal preamp on several of Jonsi's tracks (Sigur Ros)
Both channels are fully independent.
Together with its EQ, LPF and HPF it is very versatile.
It was purchased 2 years ago from vintageking for $4000sgd including shipping and GST. It has only been used in my air-con studio and never taken out.
Condition is MINT 10/10
no scratches, marks or rust
all pots & switches are smooth, clean & fully functioning
