Celebrity Center Soundhole models benefit from the same USA-made Lyrachord body as their more upscale
American brothers. The Celebrity A-shaped bracing has been perfected over the last few years through
a computer modeling process. This technology was once only available in more expensive musical
instruments. A solid-spruce top and matched lightweight bracing give this Celebrity a big, clear
sound with plenty of punch and projection. Ovation’s classic Mid-Depth composite body delivers
balanced acoustic tone and is comfortable to hold and play.
The guitar’s center soundhole offers a traditional look, and its slim neck has an electric-style
profile, 20 hand-finished nickel-silver frets, and low set action. A cutaway insures easy access to
the entire fretboard. With its 3-band equalizer and onboard tuner, the instrument’s OP-4BT preamp
provides players with flexible tone control in any performance setting.
