Not so similar to the TS9 or TS808. Personally I feel this sounds way better than its Ibanez counterparts. Doesn't color your guitar tone as much but will still provide that good mid freq boost you will need. Perfect for when I have to tighten up my lead tone with a boost, get a nice low gain crunch or when I a that little bit of sweet sustain on the dirty channel of my amp.
