Here is an Ibanez Ergodyne EDB500 Electric Bass Guitar Project for sale.
It has been autographed by Billy Sheehan in 2004. I actually had him sign my bass in this condition.
I have been contemplating to do up this project but never got around to it and it has been lying around for 14 years. The damage seen in the photos is actually the lucite body cracked at the bottom right of the body.
I've also lost the cap for one of the machine heads and the bridge is missing too. The last time I checked, the electronics are still working fine.
Most luthiers say that it's possible to join the crack since it is a cosmetic damage. The tricky part is to paint it back and also we do not want to remove Billy's autograph! Personally I prefer to leave it as it is and just install the bridge and new cap.
Open to negotiations/offers but please be reasonable. I just want this bass to find a new owner who is willing to take on this project.
COD is preferred. Please let me know your location. I can deliver to the nearest MRT to you but please make deposit payment first.
Alternatively you can come to my location to self collect (no bank in required).
