Bass started out as a Squire Classic Vibe 51 Precision Bass (Lake placid blue).
As seen, I have routed for a musicman pickup in the sweet spot position, a extra output jack and a Hipshot detuner. I have also covered the entire bass with stickers.

Additional info on hardware:
51p pickup is Lindy Fralins 51' P
MM pickup is Nordstrand MM4.2
Preamp for MM pickup is Nordstrand 2B-MM.
This combination probably gives you the most vintage stingray tone you can get aftermarket.

Controls:
- For 51P pickup, control remains the same, one vol one tone in its original knobs. Note that the sound from the 51P pickup does not go through the MM preamp.
- For the musicman pickup, there are three extra knobs, vol-treble-bass respectively.
- For the 3-way switch, position 1 is the pbass pickup to output 1 (original output jack), position 3 is musicman pickup through a preamp and out to output 1 (original output jack). In position 2, 51p pickup outputs through output 1 and mm pickup (+preamp) outputs through output 2.

Total cost of mods is around $900, with the cost of the bass adds up close to 1500.
Selling it for $800 to anyone who is interested.
Don't lowball.
