I'm selling my SX SWB1 5 string bass that I just purchased from Davis a week ago for a little over $280. Just strung it with fresh D'addario's EXL170-5 Nickel Wound 45-130 and adjusted the intonation to drop A.

And yep mahogany body and set neck at this price. QC was pretty decent except for the rough work on the back panel and the nut. ( oh well what do you expect at this price) Having oiled the fretboard and polished, I didn't find any bad frets. Overall tone is pretty punchy too.
Selling it at $240 as I'm thinking of upgrading. If you're interested, hit me up at 87221532. ( If you're looking into getting your first 5 string bass, this is a good choice)
With regards to testing, I can bring an effect processor to show you that the bass's electronics are working. I don't have a portable amp so attempting to test the tone will be pretty pointless.
