Here is a custom build by AEG Moscow, a beautiful large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone made from vintage components (and even housing!). There was no outsourcing of manufacturing during the process of building this microphone and this unit has seen just less than 10 hours of use.
The housing of this microphone was taken from an old Neumann MV102 and on the inside sits a faithful replica of the Neumann K67 capsule build in-house at AEG. The subminiature tube used in the preamp stage is the classic 6S6B paired with an AKG T14 transformer (used on the famous AKG C12). The capsule on this microphone can also be used on numerous vintage Neumann preamp bodies.
