The easiest way to toggle between one whole chain of effects for clean tone, and one whole chain of effects to bring on the brutals. Can also be used simply to true bypass those pedals that have no true bypass, and/or difficult to switch on *ahem crybabies* I do find the A+B switch's connection is a little loose, occasionally need a mild tap to wake it up. Of course can simply ignore the existence of the A+B switch then I have no complains
